Easter 2010 – Glen Etive
Two days Munro Bagging in Glen Etive
Bagging Stob Coir’an Albannaich (1044m) and Meall nan Eun (928m) at bottom of Glen Etive. Fantastic sunny day. High avalanche risk on SE to SW slopes, lots of patchy windslab and sastrugi to navigate through safely. Some crampon work needed on steep harder North slopes.
Buchille Etive More – linear walk bagging both munros from south to north. Big patches of hard snow, avoided the naughty avalanche corrie on way down by descending the NW side of it.
