A fantastic pair of very light-weight stiff 4 season boots that will take a crampon (great for strap on C1, will just about take a C2 if you are not doing anything really steep). Comfortable out of the box and require no breaking in. Great positive grip on rock, and also feel really confident edging on steep hard snow. Perfect for summer alpine trekking. Currently my favourite boot – despite the colour!

Features: – Gore-Tex® membrane, & lace lock that allows double tension. – Innovative multi-directional ankle hinge “3D Flex System”. – Double rubber reinforcement on the toe box. – Rubber rand with differentiated height on the areas of higher abrasion.

I also managed to glue a pair of berghaus yeti gaiters (once trimmed to fit) to a pair of Trangos using vulcanising solution on the rubber rand of the boot against the rubber of the yeti – the perfect combo for Scottish bog hopping.
