Improved Navigation Menu in Waypoint / Hill Bagging Pages

We’ve made some changes to the way that the left hand navigation menu bar and database filters work on the Waypoint / Hill Bagging pages. We hope you find this more useful and intuitive.

Improved view of Hill Areas and addition of Peak Prominence

I’ve added a google map  of all the Hill Areas to the areas index page to help members in recording their bagging. I’ve also added a prominence filter to allow our baggers to list the Prominent Peaks of the UK see http://www.haroldstreet.org.uk/waypoints/download/?prominence=609 http://www.haroldstreet.org.uk/waypoints/download/?prominence=600 http://www.haroldstreet.org.uk/waypoints/download/?prominence=500

New Hills

I’ve added a new filter so you may easily find just the new hills that have been added with Hills Database version 12.0 To do this you need to add the text “&hillnumber=>5636” to the url of the area/list you are interested in looking at E.g. For the lake district it would be http://www.haroldstreet.org.uk/waypoints/download/?area=34&hillnumber=>5636 Or » read more »
