Google Maps API v3  

The site has now been upgraded to use Google Maps version 3. This allows us some new features, such as displaying the name of hill when hovering over an icon. And faster page load in most browsers (but maybe not IE8 !). It also should be better for mobile devices. Feed back is appreciated, especially any bug reports!

Improving the accuracy of our data  

Hills A fraction of the  hills database data on this site still uses 6 figure grid references (these are less accurate for GPS use.) Bagging Routes  

Members can now tick off or “bag” any of the GPS Routes available on the site. Once registered & logged in members will find a check box on the details page of each Route to record that they have completed the route, in much the same way that members can tick off any of the » read more »

Other Improvements
