Details: 12 miles.
Reeth to Grinton to Redmire road to Dent Houses then turned right into Apedale, walking along the Apedale Road. Followed the line of Birks Gill to reach Birks End at the cattle grid on the Grinton Road. Took a bridleway East above Low Whita which eventually re-joined the Grinton Road above Stubbin Farm. We followed the road again until we reached Harkerside Place, walking through The Farm to follow the footpath leading to the Reeth suspension bridge.
