Details: This route is a great linear if your staying at the YH or indeed the pub next door. It is mainly on the top of the downland running on a ridge,very easy to navigate and stunning views of the coast . There are buses at Elwell (the end of the walk) into Dorchester where you change for the bus back on the A35 .there is a stop at the crossroads where you get off and walk the mile down the road back to the YH if you want to return to the beginning.
