UK Area: England
Details: A long trek across moorland without paths for the most part to climb a little visited fell. Navigation in poor visibility would be a problem but from the summit plateau there are superb views of the Dales National Park (incl. Whernside, Pen-Y-Gent and Ingleborough) as well as the Howgills and Wild Boar Fell. This route is best attempted after a long dry spell as there are several stream crossings and many boggy sections en route. 19.2km, 661m ascent/descent, 4:50hr. Recorded 01/07/15
