Lord's Seat, Geltsdale

 UK Area: England
Details: This walk was intended as a circuit of Blotting Raise and Croglin Fell but the Open Acess Land was shut so Lord's Seat was used as an alternative. Although it starts on good tracks, a lot of the going on the fell is untracked, boggy, often with ground cover concealing holes and should be walked carefully. 14.8km, 485m ascent/descent, 3:50hr. Recorded 15/06/15.

  • Would be a good walk but the going on the fell is arduous and while the views are excellent there are more challenging ascents on Cold Fell an Blotting Raise
