Fairfield Horseshoe
A classic route that needs no introduction, and not really any map either, as the path is very clear on the ground. I found only one place where the obvious path led me astray: at Sweden Crag, a well-trodden path goes up the left side of the crag, leading you to a rock face that would require you to pull yourself up it, but there is a less-well-trodden path that goes up an easier route only a dozen metres to the the right. I would definitely recommend doing the route anti-clockwise as the climb from Rydal to Nab Scar is essentially a 400 m high staircase, which I'd much rather go down than up!
