- Chris Pearson says...
- One of my favourite hills anywhere! A distinctive flat topped shape with gritstone edges commanding a far view over the Peak District and recognizable from afar. Familiar through years of living in Sheffield and walking running and climbing in the incomparable Burbage Valley. Two famous climbs being The Vice (VS)-a crack climbed on good hand jams and the harder overhanging route of The Rasp (E2 5B)lie on the huge leaning block off the SW corner. The Burbage circuit run comes over the top. Summit could be one of 3 locations - possibly its the mini tor of piled boulders which requires a scramble towards the SW
