  • 26/9/23 Difficult (but possible) to reach now from Wansfell ridge due to new deer fencing topping the wall to get across which protect the hundreds of new broad leaf saplings planted on these upper boggy tussocky slopes. Should not be mistaken for a minor NW Top of Dodd fell within the same walled area as Dodd Fell. Two tricky walls and tussocks make this a minor summit hard won
