- 15/10/23 With L on a lovely sunny cold morning after a hard overnight frost, linking 7 tops (6 subs & 1 tump) on a circular walk from Crosthwaite, exploring this lovely quiet rural backwater of hills, fields, woodlands, lanes and footpaths. glorious warming sunshine although L still had 3 marino wool layers on and a down jacket! Up access land from track to SE. (green dots public access despite unwelcome signage saying no access to footpaths) Down open cow pasture NT land to lane to N -jogged back to meet L.
