- Pastoral peacefulness far from the madding crowd. Gates from lane top to a good viewpoint. Below at Glutton Bridge hamlet is the unlikely location of the British Caving Library (visitors welcome by appointment)They have over 12,000 items including books, journals, maps, surveys and DVDs with complete runs of The British Caver and Descent and 328 non-UK journal titles including titles such as Spelunca & Speleologia.
