Round Peat Moor Hill
Park on Stang Road at Dry Gill Bottom. Walk up minor road to county boundary then on open moor to Arndale Hill. Aim for shooters' track to SE, some bog hopping involved. Follow track over Kexwith Moor and Booze Moor to Windegg Vein then back to start. 12.7 km, 301m ascent/descent, 2:45hr. Recorded 19/04/16.

Baugh Fell
A long trek across moorland without paths for the most part to climb a little visited fell. Navigation in poor visibility would be a problem but from the summit plateau there are superb views of the Dales National Park (incl. Whernside, Pen-Y-Gent and Ingleborough) as well as the Howgills and Wild Boar Fell. This route is best attempted after a long dry spell as there are several stream crossings and many boggy sections en route. 19.2km, 661m ascent/descent, 4:50hr. Recorded 01/07/15

Wet Sleddale Circuit
Start Wet Sleddale car park. Road back to Coopers Green. Cross moor to old construction road. Follow track to Keld road. Follow road W to Tailbert. Cross moor on FP to Swindale. Road and track to Swindale Head. Climb on to Nabs Moor to Mosedale Beck. Return on green track via Scam Matthew and Sleddale Hall to Reservoir. 18 km, 480m ascent/descent, 4:30hrs. Leave Ravenstonedale village W on rd then FP W to minor rd W to Weasdale. Boggy track N from Cow Bank to Gars. Take minor rd NE then E from Wath to Newbiggin-on-Lune. Minor rd NE to Friar's Bottom then track E crossing Smardale Bridge before FP S to Ravenstonedale. 11.8km, 185m ascent/descent, 2:30hr. Recorded 1/12/14.
